@Ron2 You've had a busy 6 months!
And variety! What'll be your go-to in 2026?
I'm not sure. I have a B17 kit 1/48, eduard that I want to take my time with and do, hopefully, a job that is worthy of that plane. I also have a Corsair kit I'm working on that I'd like to do a good job on. However I have a few car kits and I am enjoying branching out to that. Armor is always a fun build. My weathering is not great and honestly I'm kind of tired of feeling compelled to weather. I'm going to focus on improving my painting and adding details will probably continue with my smorgasbord of "media". I guess that's a long winded way to say "more of the same." Haha. How about you?

How about you?
Nice!
Probably more aircraft from Mediterranean/ North Africa... I am still working on my first one, the Skua with requisite AB work that I have only now equipped for.
In the armour/softskin department, I would like to get to a Free French/ Vichy vehicle, along with poking a hole in my stash of other Allied and Axis kits from North Africa.
I wanna put more effort into oil painting figures, and possibly take a crack at a first terrain base or dio while I'm at it!

"AB" work? I'm still working on my dioramas. Made a few mistakes, was able to mostly correct one mistake. It's been a learning experience as far as material and techniques. I'd like to get that better too. I put figures on the back burner for now. I do think I've got painting lazy eyes pretty down pat tho!

Haha, I was just parroting the airbrush crowd!
... and apparently, according to my younger brother today, dioramas are in the cards, building on stuff we did as kids in the '70s (which I barely recollect)!
"Can't wait to see working lights and details hahahaha you loved that stuff, I remember you making fiber optic-like lighting with clear plastics for little buildings and scratch building filing cabinets and maps. (but no pressure, no pressure)"
Now it's me who is not too far from the '70s!

Hey maybe we can do a group build diorama!

Nice builds everyone. I haven't built any plastic in years...space was the issue. We finally moved, so I hope to get some built. I'd like to build the Trumpter USS North Carolina with upgrades. The only thing I've built is some 1/64 and 1/43 diecast law enforcement cars/SUVs. They take a lot of small detail, patience, and a good brand of paints. There are several US aircraft I'd like to build as well.

The Trumpeter kit is top notch, I got no complaints about building it. The kit PE parts are just as good as the Pontos detail up kit, for the most part. Pontos wins out on the finer PE, like the antennas.
There is a build thread in the Watercraft section of the forum if your interested.

Absolutely! Thank you! I need to check out the Pontos detail up kit as well. I've got to make some space for this one, though!
