...as a kid it captured my imagination too, only we would crawl across a windswept winter landscape of blowing snow and frozen dunes, imagining we were on some RECCE mission to reconnoitre the enemy postions!

Haha, who knows, if I ever get through my stash, I will have dozens of vehicles and combatants of British (+ Kiwis, Aussies, Poles, Nepalese Gurkhas, Indians, Greeks and South Africans), Italian, American, German, French (Vichy and Free), Moroccan Goums, Eritrean, Senegalese and Tabor. Probably forgetting a few!
