Somebody offered this for sale on another forum:

When I put an offer on it plus another kit, he informed me the other one was already spoken for, but this box actually contained:—

two complete LCM (3) kits plus a set of Trumpeter crew figures. Not quite sure yet what I'm going to do with these :) Maybe build one and sell the other, or build them both as American and British, or maybe graft the two together into an LCM (6)?

I recently built a landing craft for the D Day remembered last year. Pantherman

Looking pretty good. That's an LCVP (from Italeri, I assume?), which is a good bit smaller than these LCMs.

FWIW, I started building Gecko's LCA (the British counterpart to your LCVP) about a year and a half ago, but it's on hold. You can see my progress with it over on Scalemates, but this photo should tell you a lot about the kit's basic accuracy, and why I didn't feel like continuing work on it (though I will finish it one of these days):

Basically, if you want an accurate LCA, you can use the hull, the deck, and some detail parts, but almost everything else needs to be replaced because correcting it is impossible :(

I'm not very big on Gundam models and in fact I've downsized much of the Gunpla I know I'd never get around to building, but the Zetaplus is pretty cool. I like these old Gundam Sentinel kits.

My friend gave me this old legacy Macross kit. It comes with a 1:144 scale Gerwalk Valkyrie and a 1:12 scale figure model of Hikaru.

I already had Patton, but in the reprint edition of a few years ago, and the originals are much better quality. All I need now to complete the series is Stuart, which I've never come across except at prices far higher than I'm willing to pay …

The two books at lower right are only because I like collecting old modelling handbooks. The one in Dutch is a translation of Painting & Lining scale models, which was published in 1976 by Argus; this translation is from 1981.

Not here yet, but soon! AHHQ010 1/16 M3/M3A1 U.S. HALFTRACK

I know there will be some figures coming, usually are, but much later.

I broke my self-imposed rule, no more kits, got too many already, but,.................................. When it does come in I'll have to be pretty sly getting it past the gate guard. Wish me luck.

I have a pale shadow of a 1:35 [US halftrack] kit, with conversion to the British version
The old Tamiya M3A2? The Dragon kits are far better, though not without their problems either (you can only build late versions from them, for example, even though they provide markings for early ones). Unfortunately they cost about three times as much as the Tamiya kits :(

It is a Dragon Kit, but it's the M2/M2A-1. Close, but no gold star.
Still quite appropriate for North Africa!
Stroke of luck there :) To be accurate for North Africa, though, you will need to backdate it, by removing the springs on the idler wheels. This is my M2 that I started last year, and which I hope to finish painting over the next few weeks at the latest:

Notice the filled-in bits (white putty) on the chassis ahead of the idler mounts, and the bits of plastic rod on the idler mounts so that the adjustment screws reach them.

You also need to remove the jerrycan mounts from the cab, which is rather more of a chore — and worst of all, Dragon should (could) simply have moulded them separately, because on the real thing they're open at the top and bottom so you would need to take them off and replace them even for a halftrack with jerrycans …

There are other details you can add or improve too, such as fitting pedals, improving the skate rail for the machine guns and adding the edges of the lids on the storage compartments, replacing the gearshift, and more like that.
