… two complete LCM (3) kits plus a set of Trumpeter crew figures. Not quite sure yet what I'm going to do with theseMaybe build one and sell the other, or build them both as American and British, or maybe graft the two together into an LCM (6)?
You will have fun with that kit. Are you going to light it? PM
I just might attempt to add some lighting. I will take inspiration from you PM.You will have fun with that kit. Are you going to light it? PM
Looking pretty good. That's an LCVP (from Italeri, I assume?), which is a good bit smaller than these LCMs.I recently built a landing craft for the D Day remembered last year.
A friend put that together, it took here about a year to finish. It looked magnificent.
Ha, if you're anything like me, that's a non-starter!my self-imposed rule,
That looks like an incredible kit! I have a pale shadow of a 1:35 kit, with conversion to the British version, but I think I'll wait to see how yours comes together for ideas on details to add to mine!AHHQ010 1/16 M3/M3A1 U.S. HALFTRACK
That's going to be a big'un.This got delivered today, I am very excited. View attachment 136302
The old Tamiya M3A2? The Dragon kits are far better, though not without their problems either (you can only build late versions from them, for example, even though they provide markings for early ones). Unfortunately they cost about three times as much as the Tamiya kitsI have a pale shadow of a 1:35 [US halftrack] kit, with conversion to the British version
Ah Nuts! I went back to the shelf... Good news and bad news. It is a Dragon Kit, but it's the M2/M2A-1. Close, but no gold star. The old Tamiya M3A2?
Are you going to moor her at your local yacht club? This got delivered today, I am very excited. View attachment 136302

Still quite appropriate for North Africa!
Hmmm, have bookmarked your suggestions. Won't remember any of them by the time I get to it! Thanks for the follow through! To be accurate for North Africa, though, you will need to backdate it, by removing the springs on the idler wheels
