DIY putty for filling seams

I use Perfect Plastic Putty as well. Has always worked well for me.
I use PPP as well. On the repair of my A-6E I used Zap-A-Gap on the, ever present gap between the wing to fuselage, and it worked great!
I think it is basically a thin super glue.

On larger gaps I'll use sprue goo and/or PPP.

I use Bondo Glazing Putty in a tube. It adheres well to the styrene parts, is easy to sand and sculpt. After its dry and shaped I cover it in some thin super glue which seals the patch and fills any micro bubbles.
