Thanks.Looks cool. What did use to make the yellow paint look worn out around the windshield and on the hood?
Seems complicated, but I just think if it as a recipe, to practice, to adjust, to modify. That's a skill
Nice weathering! Did a can of shaving cream explode in the cab?Another step...
Hopefully in the right direction.
We'll see in the morning.

...might as well take a break, interrogate the interloper and enjoy a smoke!Very nice! Is that a pipe?
That's really cool. The painting on those figures is awesome.
Thanks! I feel like improvements to my figure painting has been slow and incremental... For now, uniforms and accessories are acrylic, with flesh in oils over an acrylic base.figures
No, I hadn't!Looking good..... did you happen to see the Tilly in the crashed BF 109 diorama recently posted?
"Sears catalog" - you dated yourself! Thanks! I feel like improvements to my figure painting has been slow and incremental... For now, uniforms and accessories are acrylic, with flesh in oils over an acrylic base.
Pipe guy looks like he's outta the Sears catalogue!
Compared to most styrene kit figures, the crispness of 3D printed ones makes a great starting point.
That being said, I'm intrigued by the whole figure sculpting thing... Those guys are magicians!
Pity the kids today, everything instantaneous, not knowing the anticipation of getting that Sears or Eaton's catalogue, delivered to the front door; never mind the hours pouring over the toy section, leaving dog ears in the best pages!catalog
Yes. We would circle all the toys we wanted every Christmas. I remember making it a point to be more obedient and get in less trouble every time we got that catalog!Pity the kids today, everything instantaneous, not knowing the anticipation of getting that Sears or Eaton's catalogue, delivered to the front door; never mind the hours pouring over the toy section, leaving dog ears in the best pages!
