I decided to build and paint this over 2 days. Just finished it.

Don't pay attention to the Progressive Powersports sign. I was asked to paint it so I painted it when I painted the Kitty Hawk.

You can't go wrong with this one. It went together so well. barely had to sand to get it together. The only problem I had was with the deck. I had to clamp it to the hull. I do believe the plastic was warped just a hair.

Brings back some good memories seeing this kit
This was a fun kit and was my entry level back into building ship models as an adult with skills to actually give a paint job I would like. I picked it up at Hobby Lobby for half price as. Christmas gift for myself

I had done the Nimitz when I was a kid, but was done very badly and I had to hand paint deck markings since I messed up the decals. Back then I did not even know about masking so the lines were very wonky
