Uses of mod podge

As i don't live in US, i don't have access to mod podge, one of my friend who lives in US brought matte mod podge to me , i don't know what's that stuff for, is it the same thing as PVA glue, how can i use it for modeling purposes?

Yes , it's a PVA , comes in different viscosities and sheen .

Millions of videos but i couldn't find anything about modeling except some people using it for diorama base texturing.
