I might have missed it, but how did you bend the clear rod?

To be honest I'm not happy with what I did there. Might need to try again. But the answer is..."it is hollow" tube.

One of my tother hobbies is liquid-cooling high-end gaming computers. I've sold a few and have done custom jobs before, but that hobby is dying slowly. It is easy and cheap to buy an "AIO" (all in one) kit and have a water cooled gaming rig these days.

Getting to the point...bending a solid acrylic rod is a bad idea. The heat required to soften the core will likely bubble the exterior, or discolor it. The tubes used in "custom loops" (in quotes for search reasons) are relatively thin and much easier to work with. My two tubes are unequal on purpose, to show the plane banking.

^^^ shows "soft tubes", much easier, but not as cool.
