Okay, looking for something fairly quick in the stash, I decided to work on the TINY Space Battleship Yamato from Bandai.

First thing I needed to do was get the instructions to a size I could read.
To do this, I put the lid of the model on my scanner and enlarged the instructions

Now, before I get to real work, a look at the tiny sprues.

And now, a more "active look" via YouTube.

I almost picked up that kit, not knowing the scale. I am glad I didn't now. Too small for my taste. I do have a larger version however. I will keep watching this one.

@ Jingles:
I'm hoping she turns out, especially after the "hiccup" I had with the main thruster.
@ Grendels:
I've got a bigger one waiting, but I figured this would be a fun, quick little build.
@ Ferris:
Thanks for that theme. I needed it. :D

Okay, now on to genuine construction:

Main guns in place on the deck.

Major assembly complete, pending the improvisatioon of the missing main thruster

Main thruster has been improvised with a piece from a Warhammer Eldar weapon and the fins put into place.
Next step will be primer.

Good save on the thruster! If you keep posting to youtube like this, you will catch up to model man Tom.
;D

Thanks, guys.
And Grendels?
Wishing I had some actual video-editing software to work with

Thanks for the linkage, Grendels.
And, I only just started making these vids, so I never knew I needed it until now
