Thoughts on the Tamiya 1/48 Messerschmitt BF 109 G-6 Kit?

I'm looking towards buying the Tamiya 1:48 BF109G6 kit, and i was wondering what your thoughts on it are? It'll be one of the first models ill be taking seriously and was wondering if there are any specifics i would need to know about it before buying-- IE: needing a riveting tool or something similar, thanks for your help!

I built it a few months ago. Good kit. Went to together well. I don't remember needing anything special to put it together.

The Hammerhead Modeling YouTube channel has a great full build video of this kit.

You might want to pick up a set of Eduard canopy masks. It's time consuming to mask a 109 canopy by hand with all those panes.

Ah nice! One of the newer ones! I wish their Bf 109E-3 had come with them lol.
