All right, got a little work done on these today. Mostly concentrated on the second hull for this update.
Started off by grinding down a lot of the excess thickness on the upper hull section. I also removed the alignment pin holes to make lining things up easier.

With that mostly done, I then trimmed up the overfill up by the B/C deck area

Cut the hole for the deflector and mounted it with CA glue. This insertion turned out better than the first one.

Last thing I got done today was to try and make up for the huge underfill I got on the lower hull.
Rather than try and grind that all out, I opted for what looked like a better solution. I decided to add filler plates with Aves.
Basically, I filled in the problem sections, then pressed it into the mold to get what's seen here.
