Here is a model I started some months ago. The idea comes from this nice T-shirt:

So I found back this kit who was sleeping in the underground:

First: the sprues:
Medium quality, lot of places to sand!

I'll post the next steps later in this week.

Here is the first pre-assembly after sanding the body of the car:

Yeah, this'll be a kewl one to watch come together.
I am interested in how you will build up the time machine hardware in the back....
:)

Thanks guys ;) Here are the next steps:

Finded the good position for the wheels:

Sanded the wheels. It was necessary because they were coming out from the rubbers. I also drilled holes to let light shine:

With a wheel in front of the LED:

Then after some days of work:

Inside nearly ready, I need now to end the cage. Painted those parts with brush, with Enamel and Acrylics.
Enamel used for the base, gry and colors, acrylic for the different blacks drybrushes.

Here is were I am:

And a part coming from a 1:48e F-14 to add a futuristic look!

After 1h30 of sanding and adjusting, here is the driver in position:

I had to adjust a lot 'cause the head was hitting the roof! ;D

First painting: nearly done with the head! (It's my first figure! :))

Neatly executed! What a cool build and all inspired by a t-shirt. Whole lotta fun goin' on!

Man oh man!!! You are really tearing this one Up!!!!
you'll have it finished by next week!!!!
;D ;D ;D

Awesome concept man! I love the inspiration pic/tshirt. Cool stuff. Nice execution so far! Are you gonna have the clock tower in the background and the car flying? Just curious:)

Thanks guys ;)

I don't know yet about the clock behind it. But it will be flying, that's necessary! ;D

To be honest I started this build 5 months ago, and the last WIP posts are the ones I posted on a french forum.
I'll take pics this week-end of were I am now ;)

So I didn't make all of this job in 3 days! ;D

here is where I am now:

The bodywork is almost ended. Painted with Tamyia painting, then drybruhed with humbrols and tamyia paintings.
