Hope you can get the AC back up soon, John. I know what you're facing in that heat, and I don't envy you.

Got the AC back up today, so now it is a nice 73 F in the house.

The Nato Black is what I used, it is kind of greenish with the right light. If you look at his toe nails they look white, but they are not that color.

Time to get some work done on the King......

Looking forward to those pics Norm!

John! This isn't painted yet! :p

Trying lighten the mood! LOL

Keep on schedule... You must vanquish this demon....

It won't get the better of you!

Keep fighting!

Thanks Tanker52, TRM, Quaralane, and Ace.

MilitaryAircraft101: This thing just likes to break. Broke one of the wings last night. It is repaired and now I have to refill the seams.

Norm: I am almost done with the seams!! I made great progress last night, the three necks and the two tails are attached and I am working on hiding their seams. Two of the necks are done, and one tail. I am also about 30% done with the seams around her legs. This is very slow work. I can get about 1.5 cm of seam filled each trial and then she needs to sit for four hours before I can pick her up and work again. But with luck, she will see paint on Wendesday!!!!

John! I was not serious.... Just being an A$$

Take all the time you need! This kit as test your will! And patience!
Anything else will be gravy to you after this!

Carry on soldier!

Norm: Nor worries, I have pretty thick skin, and I can take it! We have 11 days left and this thing needs to see paint in the next three days or so, if not, it is out.

I have all the seams filled as of tonight. A few of the seams I am not happy with and I might do some fine tuning in the next day or two.

XXXNITRO: Thank you!!

And the next update, this video ends on Thursday, I spent the weekend working on the King, and if it wasn't for the support of my girlfriend, it might not have gotten done. She kept me at it, when I wanted to quit.

King Gidrah: Texturezilla is on the run!!

John

I hope I won't have that much work (in store) for me.... With the resin
Version of those two??? I am starting to worry!

Nice to finally see the necks and tails on! Give us a sense that you are moving forward!
These kits have been playing games with your mind the whole time...

Nice to see you have defeated the biggest of all ! Can't wait for the next update!

Norm.

Thank you MilitaryAircraft, TRM, and Quaralane.

Norm, it is still playing games with my head. At times I don't even want to look at this thing. But it is near done. And that is what really matters......

No work today, I had a long day at work and spent the last two hours catching up on email. I should get her ready for a primer coat tomorrow!!!!

Tonight I am painting her up with silver paint along the seams before final inspection tomorrow to see if she is ready for primer. That is all the time I have for her tonight.

I thought I would share a short photo update so you can see where I am now.

Sorry for the fuzzy photos, I was too lazy to pull the video camera off of the tripod to take these shots.
