Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer (scratch built)

Hi guys
Just started work on this after being inspired by many builds i've seen of this ship. Just really want one on the shelf, lights and all . Very nearly won the mpc/amt kit on ebay but SO glad I didn't as I read afterwards that the kit is a real mess and was quite expensive, much more fun to be had by building your own...I hope !
Its going to be around 500mm x 350mm, the details will be mainly plastic stock so not accurate to the studio model as kitbashing will be near impossible at this scale.

Ive started to block out the main shapes and structures with 1 and 2mm plastic sheet for strength.





Made a start detailing the back of the tower and trash chute, looking forward to getting some primer on it
