That would be the scream from the other half when she finds out what it cost...... PanthermanThe pilots must have disabled the sirens, otherwise you'd have heard it.

Almost 2 trillion stolen dollars coming back to the US is good for all of us, bad for foreign governments that have been leeching all these decades.Tariffs are going to eliminate my income taxes

Amen,.......read "War is a Racket " by Smedley Butler if you haven't already....But I do not expect to see our tax burden lessened in any way, too many foreign wars need funding.
As a Texan who owns land with cattle on it, I find it astonishing that we import Argentinian beef from (nearly) halfway across the world.Argentina has a no import rule
That looks cool but my first thought was for that poor guy that has to sit up there in the open and load that contraption. This rolled up to my door today

Do what makes you happy, that's what this hobby is all about.Just picked up these two as a set for under $14 each with free shipping, so I couldn't resist. I'm not sure if I will keep the kit markings, or go with special paint schemes with them. Mostly got them for the year cars they are.

Don't know when I'll work on it though, I got 2 other projects that have to be done first before I start any other models.

Nice haul. I have two of the PACV's in my stash. It may be next on the bench.I went to Euro Scale Modelling 2025 yesterday, and came home with more than I left there with:

The bunker is a Dutch pre-war one, in plaster with 3D-printed parts, the tracks are T66 Sherman tracks from Asuka (for €2, I couldn't leave them there) and the figures in the plastic bags are a running civilian woman and a Dutch 1930s/1940 soldier rolling a cigarette, both from J.W. de Boer.
Took me a second...lol.They both arrived over a month early from Chy-Nah too.
I've kind of wanted a model of one ever since seeing them in photos in books about the Vietnam War, 35 years ago or so. Once or twice I got close to ordering the resin kit from whatever that company is called, but never actually did, so I was pleasantly surprised when Gecko announced this one.I have two of the PACV's in my stash. Nice. PanthermanFound another win at the flea market today, has the full interior as well. Looks like a pretty decent kit.
Priced seemed a little lower than what I could get it for online so I went ahead and snagged it even if tigers aren't really my particular niche
