But I just got a 2018 kit because...SALE! (and I've never built a Panther)
Looky what else I found in my "old" stash. The price tag indicates the age.

EDIT TO ADD:
I have a small collection of Squadron/Signal books, the "walk arounds" were the best, but the "In action" ones were cool too. Just a bit sad that books are dead in the 21st century, I keep telling myself that the fans of radio-drama shows felt the same way.

Next time the missus tells you have too many model kits, ask her when was the last time you looked in her closet with her shoes collection and countless clothes where at least half she hasn't worn yet,

She pulled that on me once and I responded as told above. She shut up pretty quick. She had no counter argument comment to me then.

Yes some of these are duplicates. That is on purpose I'm planning on using some of these are going to be used in a space based wargame that me and a friend are working on.

And now pics of my stash, warning its kind of spread out.

And as you can probably tell I also play a lot of board games.

I'm not sure what many of those are, but you've got an amazing collection there!
The ones in the cardboard box are from 2 animes. Space runway Ideon and Space Battleship Yamato (released in the U.S. as Starblazers.

Whoops, the first pictures are the anime models, no cardboard box in those pictures

Such cool things to own, but I suspect they're a nightmare by modern standards to build. Do you plan to build them or are they collectables?

That Lotus would make a great project!
I'm not a Collector so they will get built. I'm just finishing another Inpact kit and was surprised by the quality and fit for a 1967-68 kit. I've seen a lot worse. The worse thing is the decals are typically not usable due to yellowing and age. The Big T kit was something I use to look at in the front window at a large, local hobby shop in the mid 1960's. It was around $12.00 and seemed like a fortune at the time. A few years ago I ran across this kit and even though it was partially built, I grabbed it. The 34 truck was just bought in a weak moment at H/L during a 40% off sale. The Gurney car was purchased this past weekend, I'm a Gurney fan and had never seen this kit. I'm done at this point as I need to get some of these finished. This Winter should be busy.
