Seams on BF109 hull

I vaguely recall a conversation a while back on this... Which longitudinal seam(s) exist on the real thing: top, bottom, or both? (ie when assembling body halves, which seam do we NOT want to fill and sand).

But it's not so much a seam as a slightly offset lap joint. Summarised in the links below with some photos in the 2nd link.
There's the typical debate about 'would the seam show at 1/48, 1/72, 1/xyz but that's the classic "each to their own/ it's your model build it how you ruddy well want" debate

Good links. Thanks very much. My first instinct would be for them to be as pronounced as the other panel lines, but this pic from one of those threads makes me think otherwise:



I might try filling it but giving the ghost of it by shading.
