Sculpt - The Hunt

Thank you guys!
Happy Easter by the way :)

Well, I sent the time quite productive (despite lots of family time and enjoying the sun [occasionally])
The first thing on my list, was the head.
IMG_7334.jpg

which needed teeth too
IMG_7341_1.jpg

and the skin effect
IMG_7344_1.jpg

but then I realized I had bent in the neck
IMG_7349.jpg

So I shaved some material back off
IMG_7350.jpg

and sculpted a new neck-line
IMG_7352.jpg

This looks better now
IMG_7361.jpg

Then I sculpted her left hand and foot
IMG_7367.jpg

And the right one
IMG_7370_1.jpg
IMG_7375.jpg

For the head I needed about 10 attempts

before I got this one

and this is as far as I got

What do you think?
Cheers

Finally time for an update :)

Since the last update I worked on her clothes and chest armor.
IMG_7388.jpg

Here you can see I used some "dino skin" for the breast armor
IMG_7389.jpg

Then I worked on the arm and shoulder armor - it will be painted to be of leathery structure
IMG_7390.jpg

I also used left-overs from the GreenStuff and ProCreate to sculpt little feathers, which I will later use as oranments
IMG_7393.jpg

Then I created some drapery to flow in the wind, giving the scene (hopefully) a bit more dinamics
IMG_7394.jpg

Here you can glimpse the central armor piece on her chest
IMG_7395.jpg

Here I have already completed the boot and added some more dino skin armor to the forearm and the shin
IMG_7398.jpg

This is as far as I got
IMG_7400.jpg

and here's also a short youtube video

I hope you like today's update.

Very very cool, must be a lovely feeling having a one off unique piece built by yourself.

Thanks,
To be honest, since most of my projects are scratchbuilds, i never thought about them special ...
But now that you mention it ...
😉

Outstanding work Klaus! Had to catch up a little as I missed the start...but WOW!! Great sculpting!! Carry on Sir!!

Thank you guys!

Well I'm a bit handicapped by lumbago since last Friday, but hey pain relievers are to relieve the pain, right?

Since the last update I sculpted a saddle for her
IMG_7409.jpg

and then decided she needs a bow and arrows
IMG_7413.jpg

and a quiver :)
IMG_7415.jpg

Then I worked on her face, giving her eyelashes and brows as well as....no, not pimples!
These will be ornamental gems :)
IMG_7430.jpg

And finally a backpack and bedroll, some final straps for the stirrups
IMG_7432.jpg

And that's it!
IMG_7433.jpg

She's done
IMG_7435.jpg

and ready for paint
IMG_7440.jpg

I will enter her alone in the "figure" category, but I will also enter her in the diorama category with some background and her prey.
For this I started off with another wire armature
IMG_7441.jpg

and a lot of SuperSculpey
IMG_7444.jpg

The "Fire Boar" started off innocent enough
IMG_7451.jpg

But he showed his true nature quickly ;)
IMG_7456.jpg

So what do you think?
I will leave them alone for a day or two and then revisit them and see if anything needs fixing andf then start painting.
Cheers
Klaus
