Wow totally stoked finding your build Pantherman. I looked high and low and couldn't find it. Im venturing out in next month or so to build a Revell Germany 359 kit, but want to make major mods because I want to add a matching lowbed trailer with a Cat D8 dozer. Hope I can confer with you going forward for expert advice.

Hi stevie, happy to share any advice / tips but I am far from an expert. Alot of members here with way more knowledge.

That being said I look forward to seeing your build so keep us all updated and plenty of photos. Pantherman

Thank you. Can I ask a favor? Can you tell me the measurement from edge of radiator to the firewall? Reason being is I found a 1/24 Cat 1693 resin engine, and want to see how tight it's going to be. Otherwise I may have to get a 3d long hood to accommodate this. The other mod I want to do is stretch the frame and add a third drive axle to make it a long wheel base tri drive.

I will get some dimensions to you later. Pantherman

Perfect thank you. If its not too much trouble, could you take a pic of the engine compartment with your phone a little higher? I think it will be a good reference pic for me to use as a model while I am hacking and building mine. Thanks again.

Hello
I must say, this site has some really great, detailed model construction. The craftsmanship and attention to detail, from fit to finish, are outstanding. THUMBS UP !

My hobby is a 1/4-scale train layout, and I put in the same effort to duplicate the realism of the scenes and models combined.

In MOP there is NO better time spent creating the models & scenes.

Cheers, keep up the good work
Pep
