Revell Kanonenjagdpanzer

and at last, the paint is on! ;D i also decided to add a camo net to the gun to emphasize its ambush capabilities, i may add additional camo netting to some parts of the tank. 8)

the net "spiced up" the tank, literally, as i used dried parsley as the leaves ;D the net was painted Revell 65 Bronze Green

i think i may have had a bad batch of the Revell 42 Yellow Olive, the paint seemed to constantly separate and thus didnt paint on consistently, so it was quite a challenge to paint, especially for a single color scheme

tracks have been weathered with AK Interactive Rust Streaks and then drybrushed with steel to highlight the guide horns

so the tank is nearly completed, just some drybrushing and weathering to follow, then the attachment of the pioneer tools and the machine gun ;D

at last, the weathering has been done and im calling this project complete!

After painting AK Interactive NATO Filter was added followed by pin washes. Rust streaks was used on the grousers and exhaust. Rain streaks were then made on the side panels and other parts of the vehicle while MIG Abteilung Oils were used to fade the top panels. Lastly, I tried out the new set of AK Interactive products I purchased, Earth Effects and Dark Mud, for the mud using the spray technique to create splashes. Finally, a dusting of pigments was used to merge the effects together.

thanks to all those who followed my first ever build log! ;D

Thats a killer finish on that Andrei welldone., What did you use for the net?

thanks a lot spud! ;D

the net was made with a strip of medical gauze wrapped around the barrel and stiffened with diluted white glue. while the glue was still wet, dried parsley was sprinkled on to represent leaves. then the net was painted with bronze green (NATO green) and a little pigments dusted on

What a great first build log, hope it won't be the last!ovely finish on this aswell!
