One last contribution to pad the auto entries in the gallery.
Revell Ferrari F430, mostly box stock, added some fine PE mesh to some of the air inlets around the body as well as on the rear fascia. The Ferrari emblems on the front fenders, hood, and wheels are from Hobby Design, just peel and stick, great additions, and some Pirelli dry transfers from Sabco for the tires. Painted Testors One Shot Lacquer Graphite Dust, looks very close to the Ferrari Gunmetal color.
The kit is ok...looks good in the end, but had a hard time mating the body to the chassis. The instruction have you install a window that separates the engine compartment from the cabin, and the body will just not fit with the window in place. As well the engine cover would not sit down flush, so I had to glue it down permanently.
Ferraris are one of my all time favorite cars, have about 25-26 in the stash here, waiting on the new Ferrari 458 to come out!!
