Need help

I'm looking to begin the build of an Airfix 1:72 Buccaneer (found on the Amazon site). I was wondering how good or bad this kit is for a beginner like me. I've built a few times before, but I really want to go all out on this one.

also I've seen some deals on a Masters G44 paintbrush, any feedback on this as well?

I've never built that kit, either.

I will say that Airfix has been turning out some great kits lately, for the money, including some upgraded toolings to old classics.
