Need help for Star Trek project

Need some help from you Trek peeps...I fund this big mic
base stand at work it was in bad shape, but I sanded it
down to bare metal its surface is perfect! I want to use
it as a buck to vacuum form a primary saucer it's 16" in
diameter it's very big. My question is there any Federation
Starship this resembles? I was also wondering with a saucer
this size how long would the engineering hull have to be?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. ;D

I have a very small model of The Grissom it has a bit of
a angled curvature if that's possible?LOL Where as my
base stand just kind of rolls off.

Could always make a 'Trek-like' ship out of it. Nothing saying it has to be a canon design. Just follow the same design asthetics

I was thinking the same Q if I can't come up
