My PIG!!

That looks great. Thanks for the info on how you did that. I'm going to give it a try. And like you said, I like the idea of being able to "erase" it if it doesn't suit me.

Excellent SBS! You've got a great eye for those additional details, your scratchbuilding is excellent!

I liked the post about your weathering, too. There are some things you pointed out, like the anti-corrosive fluid staining, that I never would have thought of, certainly not on a jet. But yours looks like the photo, nicely done!

Regards,
Brad

Thanks Scott and Baron!

Baron, whats an SBS??
Glad you found the weathing stuff usefull. I find that the water colours make life easy when you stuff up :)
Cheers!

Ah, sorry, that's Net shorthand for "step-by-step" ;)

Yes, aren't water-based colors great? I like them for my washes, over enamels or sealed acrylics. Very forgiving. Pastel chalks, too.

I have added Mirrors to the canopies from the Eduard cockpit mirror set as shown here..

I have attached the speed brake door, nose flipper doors, engine exhausts and finished it off by adding some home made RBF flags..

I will call this finished for the most part! Only the Pylons and bombs need to go on, but as I am struggling with the bombs I will add them once I have it done. I will post some final pics once the -60 and bombs are on in the sunlight.
Until then my Pig is finished....phew!

I used to see those big Gals... do Low Flying in Lahr Germany... during some NATO exercises... Loud ! and Fast !

Man I miss those days... Swooosh.....

NICE JOB on that.... I think the Aussies were the last to fly them right ???

Take care and keep the good work coming !

Amazing, simply amazing. I love the progress pics and they helped me to understand a lot of what I've wanted to do, but been too intimidated to try. Your Vark had me digging out of my stash the ECW Vark from Monogram or Revell. I will likely do her OOB but the shape and lines of her are so pretty, I can't resist. She's almost as sexy as Hallie Barry holding a bowl of coffee ice cream.
