I have a friend that for fun works at a university theater group. They keep on asking him to build some really large scale stuff for their productions. There was the 1/2 scale x-wing that you can sit in, the Star gate from Stargate and a really huge AT-AT. The neatest thing he's done is a full size remote control R2 unit, full mobility, proper sound and the dome actually spins. It's a kick when he goes to conventions and have it move though the crowd until it get swamped with onlookers.
