Been a bit since I've posted. I can fix that now. Real life is such a drag, it keeps interfering with my hobbies. My current project.

It came with 2 figures, one seated and one standing. I going to use the standing one. Planning on putting it on a base, got some great plywood scraps from work I can use.

Need to do a couple of touch ups on the paint, after that I am going to gloss it and put the decals on it. Ohh and I still have to paint the figure.

I am painting the fighter as it was piloted by Lt. Cmdr. Shigeru Itaya, Akagi Aircraft Carrier Fighter Group on December 8th 1941 (December 7th 1941 in the USA) when Pearl Harbor was attacked.

I did have several photos of the construction, however some how those photos got deleted from the camera.

Oh yeah on a good note I got my paint booth working again. Got the new switch and got it installed.

I have a Pearl Harbor M2 in my stash, trying to decide if I build it alone of the Val and Kate at the same time.

I have a Betty in my stash as well, I'm not sure when I'll build it.

Found a photo of the plane on an airstrip on Rabaul so I decided to follow that photo rather than trying for a carrier deck.

Great work!

Also nice to see a kit come with a pilot. Even better having a choice of standing or sitting

A lot of kits seem to skip on the sitting one, let alone have a choice

I've noticed that Tamiya seems to offer options for pilots at least with the 3 planes I've built from them
