So is it all glued, or just sections?

One thing I'm trying to figure out is how much to build in a kit before starting the painting. How do you approach this?

Well fortunately this kit can be pulled apart easily to paint, I usually paint in sub sections on other kits.

No worries, I'll try and keep the SBS going as best i can.

Right sorry for the delayed update guys, here's some primer, I chose Vallejo's Green Brown Primer to keep it light so I can see the seam lines, and boy can you see them! A lot more sanding and filling is needed.

Ok guys made some serious progress on this big dog. Started off assembling it after primer and bits were falling off everywhere : But I got some highlighting down with XF-60 and the mechanical areas with XF-69. Then some Ak worn effects fluid was used and then some free hand camo (not 100% sure about it yet maybe you guys will choose wheather I cover it up a little with a white wash?). The scratches came out ok and I am starting to like him.

Allright after my 'nice' camo job I thought best to hide it with a white wash lol. Dunno why just had an erge, but I am happy with it and it opens up a whole world of weathering options.

That white wash is very interesting. Looks almost like a layer of frost. Fascinated to see where you go with the weathering.
