Macross Tactical Pod Regult

Very cool. I built an Imai Regult a long time ago. Looking forward to this one.

I built one years upon years ago, and I still have it!!! Will be watching if you post progress.

That's very interesting kit to say the least.
Looking forward to see it done.
Cheers

Those things look so cool. I gotta build one of those sometime. Good Luck!

G'Day All,

Finally got around to putting together the video logs for the Macross Tactical Pod Regult build.

One Leg is together at present (further along than the videos show) and some of the body parts have been altered.

Not much to show for 3 weeks, however, I've been working on several projects throughout this period and while writing this entry have just found that the extra footage is in another projects folder - oh well, something to work on tonight.

Without further ado, here are the first 2 videos

Part 2

Don't worry about it! I still have two more to build for my entries. We have over two months left, you will get there!

G'Day All,

Well its D-Day+2 over here in Australia.

Managed to complete the model on time - just (a few late nights helped)

So now the fun part - posting all the video footage I've taken.

Here is another update.

Bandai Regult Build 04

There is more to a build than challenging! Enjoyment should be first and foremost. If you are not enjoying it, then you are doing something wrong. I didn't enjoy the last few days of my build because it was so challenging! And trying to balance work, life, Girlfriend all at once was nuts! (Thank you Nelly!)

So how did this turn out? Along with your other builds?

Good Point Grendels,

Building models is always enjoyable, except when trying to meet deadlines.
The other half commented that I was stressing out in the last 2 days of the comp dead line - maybe I was.
I spent alot more time in the last few days and started making mistakes - like touching wet decals. That on top of decals not behaving correctly or breaking, etc really made all the builds that much more of a head ache.

Anyway its over and now I have 3 good models that I enjoy looking at in the display cabinet.

Next time, I won't worry about video logs. These seem to take just as much time to do as building the model itself.
