Lighting main defector dish

Where can i find a video on how to light up main defector dish on Voyager?

Is this the original issue version, or a version with a clear blue deflector?

Forget last post to all i have the wrong version of voyager. Never going to be able to light main deflector its not transparent!!

Actually, you CAN light it. It's tricky, but it can be done.
You would need to grind away the back of the dish until you have just the vanes in order to pull it off, though.
I did this wayyyyy back in the late 90s with my first Voyager.
You may also want to see if there are still any aftermarket clear deflectors available
