Every sprue has pc's that need filling or pin marks removed, heres 2..Also almost fell off the chair. Didn't realize how old this was, was made in the U.S...LOL..
Had some time today to get some work done..Made the cargo nets from paper, jump benches of plasit and paper. A jump seat. Replaced the kit rudder controls with more accurate parts from plastic. Made the vent ducts from wire and plastic..Still trying to find something to represent the quilted fabric used in A/C. Any suggestions???? Also filled in the holes on the deck in the pass bay..
A few pics of todays progress..
Got a lot done today, spent 4 hours at the bench. Got metalizer on, finished the cockpit masked and shot the front glass finished the upper assembly with the synch gears in place.
Thanx... Got some more done today, dry fit the canopy and the rear wing assembly. Put in a ceiling made of plastic card and baking foil. Prep'd and painted the landing gears still have to paint and finish the exhaust port, the props then weather the whole thing.
A bit more completed. Used a hole punch on an emory board to make the anti-slip step on the front wheel assembly.
Still waiting for the water rescue sling to dry. The rear bay floor and step was done with plasit card, letting it cure before finalizing shape..
Wow, the decals were toast..That old they fell apart and unable to get a new set had to pc them back together on the model but with a ton of setting fluids got them on..
