Just getting Back into Hobbes!

Because of a big fire. I lost all my tools and models. I am just getting back into the Hobby. When I did make models. I was big into movie models of any type. So any info on were to start or what to buy first? please

Sorry to hear about the fire... that sucks but..welcome to the board glad to have ya.... I'm with Quaralane, Start with what interest you the most. As far as hobby tools check out Harbor Freight they have inexpensive hobby tools might have to dig a little on the web site but they are there ... Wish I got paid every time I plugged them ...lol

I would get yourself a set of hobby knives, files, tweezers, and paint brushes. Some 600 grit wet/dry sand paper, a set of clamps and a box to hold it all. After that, pick up the other stuff when needed. I got a lot of my tools at Harbor Freight, and the dollar store. I did buy good tweezers, but the rest was cheap.

As said above, start with those basic tools - really all you need.
