The first step, I have consolidated the structure with aluminium profile.

Looking very cool, even with the long fiber ends poking out all over. I really like the little shuttle bays buried in the sides.

Having never done a fiber lit model before I would guess you are leaving the ends long so that when you paint it all up you can just clip the ends to the model surface to allow the light to emit again?

It's just Hagoth, I cut the extremity of the fibers after the paintjob.


The following of my project with propellants.

I did a translucent resin molding to realize the extremity of white thrusters.

Absolutely amazing. Would love to know if you have schematics for the metal frame. did someone cut it for you? I have a Randy Cooper too and this is what I want to do to the insides. Looks great!
