Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat Fighter (Tamiya 1/48 scale)

Tamiya 1/48 F4F-3 kit. What added the complexity to this build was adding the aftermarket resin wings and cowl to back date this F4F-4 kit to a F4F-3 variant. The Tamiya kit is very well detailed. Always, painting any model silver adds it's challenges. Color scheme: CV-4 USS Ranger, 1940.
