Well a few of the things I ordered for this GB have arrived

Only things I'm needing now are a driver, which I may just try to make from a few different figures. And some stowage, crates, barrels, etc for the back of the truck.

Also snagged this at Menards

Will make a nice base to build the dio on

I don't know. I might bow out of this cargo truck build. On my Harrier I still have decals and stencils to do and build the missiles and paint them. I just don't feel right setting aside a model that's 7/8 done. And another thing. This is a cargo truck build and I think what I entered isn't a cargo truck. More of a gun truck. So, Panther man's build wasn't really a cargo truck and he bowed out and I think I will too

I for one, am ready to go...

Behold the mighty Gama Goat. Hated by many. Loud, uncomfortable, difficult to work on. 6 wheel drive, articulated center, steering at both ends. They could go anywhere. 2-stroke, 3-cylinder, supercharged diesel that was very loud. And did I mention they could float? Developed in the 60's, production ended in '73, with last use in Grenada in '83.

We used them in the 82nd. I've driven one a couple times, rode in the back many times. We dropped them out of airplanes, and we towed our M102 howitzers with them. (I have AFV Club M102 to go with this).

Ahhh, you're the one with the HO scale! Was there 20 sprues? Just kidding. That actually looks like a neat build. Albeit, a bit small. The little teeny tiny is what drives me nutso. And you can't have that doing this Hobby. The three C's man

I may be upsetting some members but in my mind what I was going to build has a gun rack and I consider that transporting cargo...

My thoughts exactly! I'll go for that because after I build my Harrier I'm still going to build that truck and the picture on the box art shows a box of something in the bed of the truck so that counts as cargo, right?
