So, finally looks like the pilot will have some dials and controls.

Still more to come from the Quinta Studio set, seat harness and such.

That IP is fantastic!

I think even non-afficianados understand the leaps of technology that took place between the World Wars. But that Instrument Panel really shows the leaps that were made in the inter-war years.

Of course I know the Gladiator was technically a World War Eleven (Shout out to Senator Ilhan Omar!) aircraft, it was built well before hostilities broke out.

Thanks. Credit to Quinta.
I didn't expect the extra gluing required for 'decals', but worked out okay.

Working on the harness straps...
They could've done a better job with instructions though, especially for an aircraft newb like me!

'A' is a Y shaped strap.
After lots of internet sleuthing, and some awesome drawings traced back to another British modeler site, turns out this is likely a 'Sutton harness' and the 'Y' gets glued on upside down and backwards so that it can be folded back (over the pilot's shoulders) and down his back to a hole in the seat back!

Finished with the little 1/72 Gloster Gladiator. I noticed that I forgot to make new underwing guns since I had to cut the poorly molded muzzles off. I'll fix that later. I used EZ Line (fine) for the rigging. I learned next time to use a smaller drill bit than you think, you can always make the rigging hole bigger.

That really looks good. I forgot its 1/72, great job on the rigging for that scale.

That's a beut!

That looks great! We're going to get you hooked on airplane cockpits, yet.
Those gauges are impressive. I also like the foot pedals.
Thanks guys! Taking forever, but between radial engines and cockpits, these planes do have a lot going for them, and I'm not even at the paint or rigging yet! 😝
