Ironically, the original is one of the few early ones that I never actually saw.

If you're even a passing fan, it's worth a watch. The original is my favorite. You actually have empathy for the Big G like you do with Kong.

Quaralane: If you are even interested in the first movie, watch the above review. He does a good job of telling it like it is. The first movie is much different from all of the others.
