Ertl Paystar 5000 Truck w/AMT Peerless Logging Trailer WIP

Hey there guys,

The truck is old, the trailer is a new re-release. My intentions are to build this as it just came out of the back woods of New Brunswick. Real logs (donated from trees in the back yard, not the crappy plastic ones that come in the kit), weathered, rusted and dirtied up.

Have intentions of finishing it in time for CAMS at the end of May....but who knows if that will happen!! LOL

Anyway...on to the pictures of what is finished so far, black parts are from the truck kit, the white parts from the trailer kit.

Scott's building ANOTHER model! LOL. Very cool man - I should make you some custom decals for this one, give it your own truck company name or something.

You should try to model a nice wood road diorama/base, that would be sweet.

That is the ultimate plan, but I would settle on getting the kit finished.

Basically going to be treated like a well worn armor model in the end, just to show that auto/truck kits don't all have to be shiny and new.

I have thought about ECH Trucking, or ECH Logging as the company on the door.

This has actually been stalled for awhile, time to start working on the interior to the cab.
