Couple of tips(well only one for now)

This might have been covered somewhere but while working on my VW Rat last night I thought I should share this tip.

When cutting thin parts with a razor saw or scribe and I don't want it to break somewhere else I use clay.
Super sculpty works too ... not sure if playdoe or something that soft would work. Here are a couple pictures explaining what I mean.

Just remember go slow and watch your fingers :-X

I like that, especially as I have a gash in the end of my finger from trying to hold something small and razor saw it at the weekend ... you don't realise how much touching an index finger does until it smarts every time.
 
LOL been there ... still have the scar on my left hand on the web between thumb and forefinger from when I was like 9 where I buried a #11 blade. :-X
