OK, I know we've ran across this before. Have you every purchased a really cheap kit only to sit down with it and work on it and realized you got a gem? You wonder why you got this for so cheap?

Let's hear it. Ever ran into a kit like this? What was it? Who manufactured it?

YEESH! That things got a barrel on it! I need to pick this one up and pile it up my stash so I can get to in in... oh... 2015. lol

I scored a oldRevell 155mm longtom and artillery tractor for $2.00 , the original price printed on the box at a retail liquidator several years ago, It needs rebuilt and its a odd 1/40th scale. It is a neat kit though, someone needs to re tool it in 1/35 with a 8" gun.

I just got a 1/72 Hasegawa B-24J Liberator for about $30 CAD. Total fluke...
