Andy's is having a Moving Liquidation Sale next weekend (Nov 16-17). I am considering a road trip to Avondale, AZ.
It's a 10 hour drive (one way ) from my driveway. I may just have to drive there on Friday, sleep in the SUV, do my shopping Saturday morning, then drive back home after shopping. Sounds like a plan to me. Hmmmm

I am. But with rental fees and fuel it would be around $600 to fly. Besides that I don't have my pilots license yet LOL. Still need 12 hours flight time then do my Check Ride.
I am debating whether or not to drive our electric ID4 or the gas Subaru. The electric will add around 4 hours to the trip (one-way) due to charge time. (30-40 min per 280 miles). The Subaru will be around $250 in fuel (round trip).

That's about 9-1/2 hours too long a drive for me ,
and someone would need to pay me that $250 to sleep in my car .

Having driven big rigs OTR for a while, 10 hours is not a big deal. With the Subaru I can lay in the back and have plenty of room. Not so much in the ID4.

I did not. I couldn't justify the cost with the savings I would get.
