Ugh well this was a domestic argument. Haha. Finally got this kit I ordered for 50% off, then got hit with tariffs and felt like a *******. I know the kit is older but damn they could improve the packaging. Everything shoved into one bag, clear parts did have its own bag. A lot of parts had broken off the sprue but don't appear damaged. Plastic is thin and cheap feeling. Disappointed with airfix for the packaging and lack of tariff warning when I was checking out. My argument with my wife would have been much worse had she known what I paid in tariffs- ordered four models. Also got the 1/24 bf109, and two ships. Missing my ships so now I have to go to ups. Argh.

Most of the engine together and painted. My eyes are too dry tonight to keep going.

Did you buy direct from Airfix? When were the tariffs assessed?
Yes I did. I got my package about 7-10 days ago. It's difficult to keep up with who has a tariff and not and no idea how much the tariff would be. It was ridiculously expensive after that was added on. I complained to them that other websites warn of tariff and there reply was they would look into adding a warning and gave me 2500 bonus points. I got no response about the poor packaging that was damaged.
