Yeah I was surprised at how many markings there are on the vehicle when I used that kit for the Skylab I built.

This panel lacks detail. I'll use 0.010 styrene to replicate this.

Done with the exception of the panel requiring additional detail. Then on to decaling. I don't mind working with waterslide decals.

This is my happy side for the day. Along with my wash and wear, drive and wear and sleep and wear hair.

Well, I was not happy with my use of the Bare Metal product. It's a great tool yet requires a large learning curve for me. The larger the surfaces are, the more difficult it's been for me. I'll still try it on the fins and fin shrouds as I haven't given up totally. So the SM will be painted instead.

All the tiny bits painted for the SM. I will attempt to use gold Bare Metal on the RCS nozzles themselves. I will also add navigation lights. Even the RCS modules will have decals on the forward face.

Flying models are a disposable commodity and I treat them as such. From my rockets to my RC planes. It's the passion that keeps the interest itself moving forward regardless of loss.
