1/48th scale B-58 finished a while back

It's the Monogram kit with resin engine updates. The finish is FUTURE mixed with aluminum powder.
Makes for a tough, shiny finish!

How did you achieve those wonderful tone changes in the metal finish?

Thanks for the kind words!

I mixed up various versions of the FUTURE/AL. Powder mix with drops of liquid acrylic to tint the color.
The trick is to always keep the paint mixed well. If a color ends up too dark, you can re-buff the panel with the powder to make it more polished and lighter.

LUV A natural metal finish! And that's the one I love! Nice work, may have to pull my shelf queen down.
