Anyway lets get building :)

Hi mate, should be a great build, always in for a Panther! :)

Depends on how much you care for accuracy: The Panther Ausf D was the first type of Panther and the type deployed during the battle of Kursk. Yours is a later Ausf A. But again: all depends on how accurate you want to go. In any case I'm looking forward to your first update

Cheers

yeah im aware of the diffrences but im making some noticable changes to make it more accurate :)

Well 1st job done. As i noticed that the panther at the time off kursk didnt have any machine guns i had to get rid of this one. Easy enough job :)

Nice work. Are you going to add the rectangular hatch in stead? They did have an MG, just nog the round 'Kugelblende' or ball mount, in stead they had to fire it through a lid.

I like the wings idea btw ;D

Cheers

This is a great picture and yes im planning to add the hatch but i will have it closed :) thanks

Started on converting a few things including a new panel on the back of the turret as the escape hatch on the ausf d is in the center and the ausf a one is at the side so had to sort that. Also did a few bumps and weldings on the turret that makes it more accurate with what im trying to create :) hope u like it

Iv also just noticed the hatch on the front looks a little thick so going to have to tackle that to. All thoughts are welcome
Thanks

Not had much time over the last few days but got an hout today so did bits on the turret to get it more accurate to the early ausf d model.
Heres some pics :)

Thats all for now... Just not enough hours in the day :(

So i have got the turret done. Changing the commanders hatch to look more like the ausf d one. Still need to do the lookout holes and door but i think it looks pritty close to the ausf d version. I also redid the catched on the top of the turret as the kit had square ones and needed them to look rounded. Heres were we are....
