Hi everyone!

We are a group of modeling huge fans from Madrid, Spain. We would like to share with you our last project.

Our proposal is neither a finished model nor a making of, it's only the beginning of a dream that its slowly coming true.

We've just received our first delivery of one our most beloved projects: a 40 cm. tall AT-ST from THe Return Of the Jedi.

It's entirely designed with 3D technology and printed in several highly-resistant materials. Now we are working on an AT-AT, 1/48 scale, completely from scratch. We began working on it a year ago, and will be our next project, but we haven't been able to resist showing you the first chapter on our AT-ST, hoping to have it finished in a few months time.

As always, we'd appreciate very much any contribution.

Beautiful work. Very inpressive. Will this be a kit?

Awesome. Will this be available for purchase as a file for 3D printers?

Hi Scott, and thank a lot for your words ;D

We think its soon to think about it as far as the two models we need for our project, but we are very impressed with the reception by the community though! At first we want to be completely sure that every piece matches perfectly in the correct scale. However, we are going to make molds and cast them in resin because we want at least two of both models for our own scenes in Endor and in Hot. So, once made the molds, we should be able to produce an AT AT and AT-ST limited edition in a short period of time. We are seriously considering it.

You can see more updates related to these models soon ( we are still working on our blog, which will be launched soon too), but, for now, I`d like to invite you (and invite to everyone, of course) to our facebook, were we share pictures, modeling information and in a short period of time weekly updates of our AT-AT and AT-ST models. https://www.facebook.com/stararts2000

Thanks again!

Haha!! Keep in touch mate, we are just waiting for perfection. A few details to be fixed yet ;)

Re: 1/72 (16 inches) 3D designed & articulated Return of the Jedi AT-ST

Although we’re now hardly working on our AT-AT, the AT-ST keeps walking. Here we have some pics you could use as reference to ckeck its dimensions. They’re not glued yet, because we’ll need to keep working on the structure.

Sorry about the picture’s quality. The resin’s colour is too bright and the table behind too dark. We’ll try to fix that soon ;)

Re: 1/72 (16 inches) 3D designed & articulated Return of the Jedi AT-ST

Although we are heavily working on our AT-AT 1/48, the AT-ST 1/72 Chicken Walker is still alive!! Here you have some of the progress we've done lately. There are still some details to be fixed, such as cannons, some of the leg tubes, belly and neck cables, as well as some several final touches all around the model. We must say most of the work has been already done, thanks to new laser cut and 3D printing technologies.

As is becoming the custom, all coment will be welcome. More info in our site http://moviekits.net/star-wars-at-st-scratchbuilt-by-moviekits/

Cheers!!
