Practice a little, and don't stress on it. Remember this hobby is suppose to be fun. You got this. :)
HI Kevin yes it is suppoce to be a fun hobby but jen says i take it to seriouly an i suppoce i do as i like to have the model look as realistic as possible hence all the lights which the real planes have got in them EH so yes i will try an calm down a bit an pracktice a bit with the A/B AS ON MY BIGGER MODELS ive always used humbroll rattle cans an from them i got a perfect finish so for me usein an A/B is goin to be a big challenge so no doubt i will get stressed as in all my yrs of buildin my models ive never binned one but took out side to shoot them up with a airgun but that was when i was young an stupid as all my big ship models all got sold an not destroyed an ive still got my 1/72 scale HMS NORFOLK F230 full R/C an my big 1/72 scale HMS TIGER C20 to sail an show to the general public so im happy

Hiya Chris.
Im with Jen on this.I do stress when it comes to painting. Its why i dont get all the top of the range kits in case i fudge them up by poor finishing. You wont believe it but i havent airbrushed a model since the mid 1990s!!!!!.When i lived with my folks i had a nice shed and i used an old Badger 200 single action as i did planes then.Ive gotten by with using spray cans or brushes.Phantom is coming along great mate.Have you ever thought about doing say a 1.32nd helicopter?,Could be fun lighting up tail rotor and cockpit.Or i might be talking nonsense.
Hope you are both keeping well.
Richard and Helen and Mr Barnaby.

HI Richard well if you get stressed out too building then we are in the ame boat an sorry no ive built workin helo's for my big warship in 1/72 scale BUT IVE NO INTREST in building them in 1/32 im a fraid as a 1/32 copper takes up a lot of room so no an ive got all the kits i need to see me out as i may snuff it before i get too build all my kits esp the conbine as im gettin old anyway
ATB TO YOU AN HELEN AN BARNABY

That's not "chickening out," that's just intelligence. This stage is not where you want to try learning a new technology!

Well played.
With this much time and effort invested, play to your strengths!
I'd have done the same.
If you're not feeling it, follow your gut.

Probably not the time to go all experimental!! ;)
