Seconds out was the first tour after Peter left and had a lot of wind and wuthering stuff I think. Lamb lies down on Broadway was the last album and tour Peter did before having his nervous breakdown and leaving.

YouTube is where I get them. Just include the keywords backing track in your search. For example something like "Led Zeppelin the rover backing track" and it will come up with it. They are great for playing along with, but sometimes can be a bit tougher than playing along with the regular song because there are no rhythm guide guitar tracks either. That's why I started recording some. That way I can play back muting whichever guitar track I am playing live.

I didn't think of this until today because I didn't really consider it a hobby but I also make soap. It started when my favorite body wash went over $5 and I got irritated and thought "I can make soap!" So I started. I make bar soap for my wife and I, and she is the pickiest person I know so if she likes it it must be good, and has progressed to making liquid laundry detergent and a body wash. The body wash is a bit of a cheat but the other soaps are bar soaps made from oils the old fashioned way. Anyway, it started out with me being cheap but now I prefer the soap I make. I like the chemistry of it. Those are two loafs and some lumpy bars.

This reminded me of the chemistry sets me and my brothers got as Christmas presents in the early 1970s. We would be out in the side yard playing with the chemicals. We didn't follow any of the instructions, but just combining stuff to see if we could get anything to burn or detonate

For my 7th grade science project I built an arc welder that caught on fire when I demonstrated it. I had the coolest project in the class and got a C because my paper sucked. Haha. The clay pot I was using as an insulator is what caught on fire because I held the arc too long!

If things aren't catching fire or exploding it probably isn't a very interesting experiment.
Thankfully almost all kids don't pay attention in HighSchool chemistry classes. The world would be a much more dangerous place if they did.
My brother-in-law once came in second place in a highschool science fair with his working recoilless rifle and rocket.

I feel like you'd enjoy a week out at my ranch, I have little to offer in the realm of explosives, but with 900 acres and no (close) neighbors, I do have 200-800 yard steel to shoot at.

Curious about this. I am finding myself spending less and less time listening to music. When I do, it is tried and true (old) favorites. I kinda assumed that is normal, is it not?

Interesting because I have always HAD to have music going and am finding myself in silence at times now. Another strange thing is I spend far less time listening to rock and have taken to 60-70s rock and lately - Neil Diamond, love that Canadian - Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce. Why am I listening to my parents music? Oh and old country.

But seriously, yeah I'm getting old but I grew up on Thin Lizzy and Black Sabbath and Rush and it sure beats a lot of the trash they are coming up with nowadays. We knew how to make music back then. And we still do luckily. I mean geez look at those wrinkled old dudes called The Rolling Stones. And Billy Gibbons is still touring. By now I thought his skinny ass would be Tumbling With the Tumbleweeds but there's a couple ever ready rabbits out there. But lately I'm on this kick where bands like Leo moricelli from frog leap Studios take songs and make them more metal. For some reason Leo's playing? It strikes a deep resonating cord in me and turns on the happiness and makes me wish I still had my drum set my wife made me get rid of years ago

Yeah new music pales in comparison. There's a few new groups I like but new being a relative term. Godsmack is probably my favorite- have you ever seen their dueling drums set? Holy cow!
