On that wood piece? Try using a flat brush. Dip it just in thinner wipe it on that wood piece kind of swiping down, moving back and forth like it's wood grain. It should kind of soften that paint up and kind of have it two toneWell. This is funny because I'm kind of the turtle with this group build. Haha. I painted the interior of the plane and worked some more on my leather and wood floor. Im just going to stick with the plastic floor.
Yes I've been using a flat brush. It's a process of about six different layers with washes etc. I'm about done with it at this point. On that wood piece? Try using a flat brush. What are you talking about? That's not what I meant but okay
What are you talking about
You said you weren't happy with it so I suggested how to fix it. I don't care how you did it. I was just saying what I would do to maybe make it look better without having to repaint it. Never mind. Sometimes I confuse myselfWhat are you talking about?
You're confused? I don't even remember what I said! Oh boy.You said you weren't happy with it so I suggested how to fix it. I don't care how you did it. I was just saying what I would do to maybe make it look better without having to repaint it. Never mind. Sometimes I confuse myself

Thank youThat looks really good!
Note the cigarette in the hand and the detail of the strap on the MP40. Will be interesting to see if I can clean it up without breaking it.I can't put my finger on it but it seems like something's missing…
Binding of books? The old-fashioned way?Got a bit more done.

Got some of the smaller parts on the wings and almost ready for color.
I'm hoping I'll get some paint on it this weekend, but I have a lot to do including binding a couple of books.
S.E.5a has a similar sight/scope on it, but I think something is amiss since it is pointing off to the left?
Nope. I'm so far behind after 3 days, feels like 3 weeks!turtle with this group build
Not everyone.Nope. I'm so far behind after 3 days, feels like 3 weeks!
Everyone's making excellent progress!
Yep I'm going to get my binding equipment from storage so I can bind about 5 or 6 books for a friend of mine as a birthday present. Man I want a house where I can set up my workshop again, I'm tired of keeping everything in storage.Binding of books? The old-fashioned way?
