Well. This is funny because I'm kind of the turtle with this group build. Haha. I painted the interior of the plane and worked some more on my leather and wood floor. Im just going to stick with the plastic floor.

On that wood piece? Try using a flat brush. Dip it just in thinner wipe it on that wood piece kind of swiping down, moving back and forth like it's wood grain. It should kind of soften that paint up and kind of have it two tone

Yes I've been using a flat brush. It's a process of about six different layers with washes etc. I'm about done with it at this point.

You said you weren't happy with it so I suggested how to fix it. I don't care how you did it. I was just saying what I would do to maybe make it look better without having to repaint it. Never mind. Sometimes I confuse myself
You're confused? I don't even remember what I said! Oh boy.

Got a bit more done.

Upper fuselage is mostly done, just the MGs left to put on.

Got some of the smaller parts on the wings and almost ready for color.

I'm hoping I'll get some paint on it this weekend, but I have a lot to do including binding a couple of books.

Binding of books? The old-fashioned way?

Nope. I'm so far behind after 3 days, feels like 3 weeks!

Everyone's making excellent progress!
Not everyone.
We left Wednesday morning and drove nine hours to visit family this weekend.
But sitting here in the hotel, waiting for my wife to wake up, I keep asking myself..

"How come you didn't bring the kit with, Dummy?"

I could be cleaning up parts right now. All I would need is an X-Acto knife
